Worth is very fortunate in attracting high-calibre speakers for its lecture programmes. The Headway Lecture Programme is specifically geared at Sixth Form, with speakers addressing students on a wide range of topics. Attendance is compulsory for Sixth Form students

The Academic Prefect Lecture Series is a programme of lectures and interactive workshops, organised by the Academic Prefects, open to all able and interested pupils. It aims to stimulate intellectual curiosity by introducing students to areas of study way beyond the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curricula.
The Worth Challenge runs for the first two terms of the school year and in the Summer Term gives rise to a prize essay competition which is open to all members of Years 9 and 10.
