Annual Events

Carol Service

The candlelit carol service takes place in the Abbey Church in December and is attended by staff, students, parents as well as the wider community and local parishioners. The service is one of the highlights of the year and presents an opportunity to hear the exceptional Worth School choir and musicians.

Festival of Arts

The Festival of Arts normally takes place over a two week period in March. Students from Worth and Burgess Hill School for Girls join together to present a programme that is packed with events including music and drama performances, art and photography exhibitions and debate.

Speech Day

Speech Day provides parents with an opportunity not only to hear about some of the events of the year, but also to see first hand the many developments that have been taking place in the areas where their sons live and work.

ACE Week

Activities and Curriculum Enhancement week takes place in the summer term and each year group are involved in a range of activities, educational trips and expeditions. ACE week regularly includes some of the following:
  • Year 8 French exchange to Aurillac
  • Year 9 visit to the French and Belgian Battlefields
  • Year 10 trip to Cornwall
  • Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expeditions
  • Theatre visits
  • Day of Reflection
  • Living Together Day
