Parents ConferencesThese give parents an opportunity to discuss their son or daughter's progress with their teachers and tutor. The meetings will usually be held in the refectory. There is one Parents Conference for each year group during the course of the year.
Year 7
Parents' Conference takes place in October each year, as they start their education at Worth.
Year 8
The Year 8 Parents' Conference is held in February.
Year 9At the Year 9 Parents' Conference in February, the Director or Studies will talk to parents about GCSE options.
Year 10
The Year 10 Parents' Conference is held in April and will be preceded by a talk by the Catholic and Anglican Chaplains on Confirmation.
Year 11The annual Year 11 Parents' Conference takes place in January and various key staff, including the Director of Studies and Deputy Head, will be available to discuss and give assistance relating to Sixth Form options.
Year 12Before the Parents' Conference in March, there will be a presentation for Lower Sixth parents by the Head of Careers and the UCAS Co-ordinator on Career Development and University entrance procedures.
Year 13For Year 13 the Conference will be held in November, as they near the end of their education at Worth. |
